Tradition and everyday use
Olive oil belongs to the Mediterranean tradition of sharing a table. Ours comes from a small Spanish village and pairs with bread, tomatoes and meals where good ingredients speak for themselves.
Its role in your diet
Oleic acid accounts for an important part of olive oil. The Mediterranean way of eating illustrates its place in the diet: plenty of plants, simple dishes and oils in place of some saturated fats.
How we recommend using it
We recommend it with fresh bread, salads, pasta and prepared vegetables. We will gladly discuss the current harvest’s flavour, the oil category and suitability for heating when you choose a bottle.
- Fresh bread and ripe tomatoes.
- Lemon dressing for salads.
- Vegetables, pasta and finished dishes.
Taste and character
Olive flavour, shaped by the variety and harvest.
What does science say?
The American Heart Association identifies olive oil as a plant-based fat that can replace fats high in saturated fatty acids. Benefits come from the overall eating pattern.
How to store it
Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat. Check the storage temperature and use-by guidance after opening on your bottle.
